SERVICE TECHNICIAN

SERVICE TECHNICIAN Full Time Flagstaff, AZ, US Summary: This skilled position is responsible for the installation, set up, repair and ongoing maintenance of vending, cooling and/or fountain equipment at customer accounts.
This person diagnoses equipment problems, using judgment to determine how to best repair or replace it.
This position requires lifting, carrying, pulling/pushing heavy equipment, mechanical aptitude, and a working knowledge of cooling systems.
Responsibilities (Including but not limited to): Repair and perform preventative maintenance on marketing equipment.
Remove old parts and replace with new parts.
Unload/Load vending machines into accounts Educate customers on basic equipment repair and upkeep procedures.
Install equipment: Make holes and route lines to connect product to dispensing unit; connect water supply, gas supply; find drain for units with ice; build racks and connect lines for BIB.
Fill installed equipment and adjust to proper mixture.
Prioritize and schedule service and PM calls to meet customer service windows.
Drive to locations, evaluate issues and perform necessary work.
Collect accurate and complete equipment and customer information.
Maintain parts inventory on service vehicle.
Establish positive relationships with contacts from service calls.
After each call, complete paperwork on job and submit.
Lift, carry, pull, push and/or move at least 55 pounds repeatedly over workday.
Using proper equipment, move vending machines weighing between 800 and 1200 pounds.
Various other responsibilities as assigned by Service Manager.
