*JOB SUMMARY:*
Perform routine preventative maintenance per a set schedule as well as respond to unscheduled repairs in a safe and timely manner.
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
· Support, installation, rebuilding, and maintenance of all production equipment such as baking ovens, conveyor systems, and a variety of packaging and support equipment

· Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs
· Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders
· Perform other duties as directed by supervisor
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*
· Must be highly motivated, able to follow direction, and perform assigned work duties independently with minimal supervision
· Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
· Must be able to speak, listen, and openly communicate with team members
· Able to read, understand, and strictly follow written procedures for multiple controlled processes
· Good understanding of and strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Policies (GMP)
· Must be organized and maintain work area
· Able to identify areas that need attention and either address or report as necessary
· Must be able to accurately take instructions and keep records
· This position involves regular bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting
· Required to stand on their feet and/ or walk up to 12 hours per day
· Must be able to regularly; lift up to 100#, have full use of arms and legs and climb stairs to access all areas of the plant and offices
· Must be able to detect audible tones and alarms
· Must maintain a high degree of forklift operation skills
· Must have sufficient hand tools required to perform duties of the Production Maintenance Technician (company provides all specialized and consumable tools/equipment)
· Must be able to work all shifts in a seven day a week rotation
· Adherence to the company attendance policy is required, including expectations of punctuality and limited unapproved absences
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum of three years' experience in a related field or comparable education
· Must demonstrate a good Electro-Mechanical aptitude and have a work history showing multitasking ability
· Must be able to demonstrate ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
· Welding experience a plus
· PLC experience a plus
· Must have demonstrated good work habits and attendance
