The RSLP Manager oversees all inventory and warehouse operations and local standard operating procedures (SOP); supervises the performance of operational tasks, in compliance with SOPs or other similar task/guidance procedures, for the safe and efficient execution of either; shipping, receiving, or warehousing operations, relating to RSLP commodities (Arms, Ammunition and Explosives (AA&E) and Non-AA&E).

Job Duties: Responsibilities include: • Ensure all assigned equipment is serviceable and safe to use in all operations.
Direct, when assigned, personnel to complete Prior to Use (PTU)/Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) on equipment, with documentation, and file in accordance with departmental equipment maintenance procedures.
Authorize assigned personnel to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE), Weight Handling Equipment (WHE), Commercial Motorized Vehicles (CMV's) and other associated tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner and ensure that they follow all regulatory mandates.
Review Post Operation Inspections and file reports as applicable.
• Manage shipping, receiving, inspection, storage, and inventory of assets.
Provide and manage a complete and accurate inventory using a locally established inventory program.
Conduct a complete inventory annually or as directed.
Coordinate with Program Engineers to ensure proper identification of assets and assist with special projects.
Research weapon system components utilizing the Federal Cataloging Database (FED-LOG) and applicable Illustrated Parts Break-Down Manuals.
Operate all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) required for warehousing operations.
Ensure tasks are conducted in accordance with DOD, Federal, State and/or Local regulatory guidance including OSHA regulations applicable to warehousing operations.
Maintains knowledge about industry trends, business best practices, and employment legislation.
Ensure agency compliance of new legislation and State guidance through research and participation in relevant training events and seminars.
Actively contribute to implementing forward-thinking programs to align the agency with future workforce needs and challenges.
• Maintain Crew Chief AA&E and Non-AA&E certification eligibility through the performance and attendance of required sustainment training in accordance with the Training, Qualification, and Certification Program.
Read and review all regulatory documentation relating to assigned AA&E and Non-AA&E operational tasks, ensuring all updates and revisions are understood.
Ensure assigned personnel meet their AA&E and Non-AA&E certification eligibility.
• Supervise Camp Navajo Operations personnel on an as required/as available basis in support of RSLP operations.
Direct (when assigned) personnel in the performance general housekeeping and user level maintenance of all associated departmental facilities and surrounding work areas.
• Perform specialized handling of AA&E such as disassembly of arm/disarm and safe devices, nozzle removal, exudate cleanup, component installations/removals as specified by customer technical documents.
• When necessary, will direct AA&E and Non-AA&E operations in support of Conventional or Large Rocket Motor Crew Chief, to meet directorate goals and objectives (i.

supervising operations while dedicated crew-chief is absent or otherwise required).
