JOB SUMMARY
Position is responsible for involving the routine cleaning, power washing, grounds keeping, snow removal and semi-skilled repair and maintenance of Mountain Line’s facilities: buildings, repair shops, bus stops, bus shelters, and connection centers.
Some examples of essential functions that will be undertaken during regular performance of the job are listed below.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• This is an entry level skilled mechanical work that includes some technical diagnostic, repair, and rebuilding work as necessary.
Completes road testing of vehicles to ensure proper repair.
Also maintains a clean, efficient, and safe shop area
• Respond to road calls
• Account for all material used in accordance with work order system and completes all required work orders and records in a timely and accurate fashion
• Will be responsible for snow removal, to include shoveling, using snow blower, and using a truck with a plow.
• Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 2 year associate degree and/or certificate from accredited vehicle mechanic trade program
• 1 year prior similar work experience
• Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of this position.
LICENSES, TRAINING, AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
• Valid Arizona Driver's License
• Must obtain a CDL permit with 30 days of employment
• Must obtain a Commercial Driver's License within 6 month of employment
