Job Summary:
This is a full time year round position located in the beautiful city of Williams, AZ.
The Certified Welder I is a skilled level position responsible for performing simple, routine, and repetitive tasks using standard welding procedures, tools, materials, machines, and equipment; ability to weld metal using stick, MIG, TIG, cutting with torch and plasma.
The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Season End Date: 1 year from hire.
Pay: $27.
00 hourly
Schedule: 4 days a week 10 hours a day.

Responsibilities:
Fully understand and support Xanterra Mission Statement and Core Values.
Read and interpret blueprints, working drawings and sketches, performing accurate math calculations and layout.
This position requires performing simple, routine, and repetitive tasks using standard welding procedures, tools, materials, machines and equipment
Position requires working in confined spaces and standing for extended periods of time.
Safely operates machinery and tools, using required safety equipment and PPE, including various forms of respirators and eye protection.
Cleans equipment and work area using proper materials, and follows environmental policy and procedure in regard to proper disposal of hazardous waste materials and SDS Sheets.
Follows instructions, responds to management direction, takes responsibilities for own actions and keeps commitments.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have at least (4) four years’ previous experience in welding with ability to safely weld using stick, MIG, TIG, and ability to demonstrate cutting skills using torch and plasma cutter and fabrication skills that meet visual appearance standards.
Must be willing and able to pass a 6G welding test for qualification.
Must be able to weld stainless steel.
Possess a valid Arizona Driver’s License and comply with Xanterra/GCR Vehicle Policy.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:
Frequently standing, walking, handling, reaching outward, reaching above shoulder, bending/stooping lifting/carrying up to 50lbs, and pushing/pulling up to 25lbs.
Twisting, using eye/hand coordination, manual dexterity, using wrist motion, and ascending and descending ladder.
Occasionally sitting, climbing, crawling, squatting/kneeling, lifting/carrying up to 100lbs, and pushing/pulling up to 100lbs.
Constantly listening, hearing, seeing, and speaking.
Will be required to stand and walk for long periods of time on cement floors and to occasionally walk on uneven surfaces and onboard moving equipment.
