Duties, responsibilities, or experience required.
· Perform various manual labor tasks on construction sites.
· Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction projects.
· Operate hand tools and power tools as needed.
· Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
· Loads and unloads tools and building materials into work vehicles.
· Follows all local, state, and national building codes and regulations.
· Follows written and verbal instructions from the construction manager.
· Reports any issues to the construction manager.
· Prior experience in residential construction is required.
· Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction.
· Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment.
· Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
· Works well independently and with a team.
· Knows construction math skills, including how to convert quantities, take measurements, and solve basic equations.
· Experience more than one of the following trades: drywall, painting, framing, plumbing, electrical, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, windows, flooring, tile, ect
