Machine Maintenance Technician (1st Shift)

About your new role: The Maintenance Mechanic will work with production and is responsible for maintaining, modifying, and repairing production machinery within established specifications.
Reports to and receives direction from the Plant/Unit Manager.
The position will maintain all plant and manufacturing equipment, to include rebuilding parts/equipment, ensure safety circuits are operational, follow lock out tag out procedures, troubleshoot circuits and components, and assist with machine set up/operation.
The position will also assist in maintaining the facilities and grounds.
Physical/mental demands: Position will require regular standing, walking, bending and reaching.
Able to operate hand tools.
Lifting requirements up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100lbs.
Ability to solve complex mechanical and electrical problems relating to machines.
This is a full-time position working 1st shift.
Monday through Friday with on call as required.
Hours to be determined based on production needs.
What you need: High school diploma or equivalent.
Fluid power systems experience desired.
Minimum three years trade experience or Machine Operator experience.
Excellent mechanical/electrical aptitude ability.
High math aptitude.
Good communication skills.
Ability to use hand and power tools.
Ability to work as part of a team.
