Coconino County Parks and Recreation is seeking One (1) Archery Instructor.

Under limited supervision, leads archery programs; interacts with youth and adult participants, creates lesson plans; prepares and submits program related reports; administers first aid when needed; answers participant questions; provides customer service; enforces facility and program rules; monitors condition of equipment and facilities; and other duties as assigned.
Please Note: This position is a temporary on-call position that does not include benefits.
This position has an irregular schedule built around the program offering schedule to fulfill the 2024 season.
This position is open until filled with the first review of applications on December 15th, 2023.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
(Illustrative Only)Instructs recreational archery clinics including, but not limited to basic archery, intermediate archery, and private archery clinicsWill be responsible for fielding questions, creating/adapting program lesson plans, working with customers including youth, adults, and seniorsManages risk by following policies and procedures, supervising participants, administering first aid when needed, and documenting accidents/incidentsCleans and maintains County programming areas and equipmentEssential functions include but are not limited to: standing, walking and bending; twisting, lifting, carrying; working with and around other staff and the public; hearing and speech for ordinary conversation.
Environmental factors include: the majority of work is outside; exposure to exposure to dust and hay.
